Operation Homefront 2008 -- Fort Bragg, North Carolina On November 6, nonprofit organization Operation Homefront, in cooperation with technology provider CDW Government, Inc. (CDW-G), presented refurbished computers to the soldiers and the families of the U.S. Army 82nd Airborne Division (3rd Brigade). The computers will enable the families to communicate with loved ones deployed overseas, both from home and from Fort Bragg's family Internet café, making it possible for even more families to stay connected when family love and support is needed the most. Paratroopers and their families from the 82nd Airborne Division (3rd Brigade) at Fort Bragg, N.C., gather in the Hall of Heroes to receive donated computers before deploying to serve our country in Iraq. Operation Homefront, in cooperation with CDW-G, donated more than 100 computers to the paratroopers and their families, allowing the families to keep in contact during these challenging deployments overseas. CDW-G and Operation Homefront teamed up to donate computers to the paratroopers and their families, enabling near-instant communication during the paratroopers' deployment to Iraq. Spc. Patrick and Brittany Dobbins are all smiles as they load up the car with a new computer, compliments of CDW-G and Operation Homefront. Spc. Patrick Dobbins was one of more than 100 paratroopers who received a computer before deploying to Iraq, providing Brittany with the ability to communicate with Spc. Dobbins on a regular basis. The Jennings, with computer and baby in tow, leave the Operation Homefront/CDW-G computer donation ceremony at the Hall of Heroes on Fort Bragg, N.C. CDW-G partnered with Operation Homefront to provide more than 100 paratroopers and their families with computers, providing the Jennings family with the ability to communicate frequently with Spc. Bradley Jennings while he is deployed to Iraq. On November 6, more than 100 paratroopers and their families from the 82nd Airborne Division (3rd Brigade) at Fort Bragg, N.C., received computers compliments of CDW-G and Operation Homefront. The computers will allow families, like Spc. Duan Wade, wife Dana, and son Duan, Jr. to say in close contact while Spc. Wade is stationed in Iraq.
