VERNON HILLS, Ill. - February 28, 2006 - CDW Healthcare, part of CDW Corporation (NASDAQ: CDWC)'s government subsidiary and a leading provider of technology products and services to healthcare organizations, today announced that it has joined Global Healthcare Exchange, LLC (GHX), which offers an electronic trading exchange and complementary services to improve supply chain efficiencies. The agreement with GHX will expand CDW's ability to rapidly and cost-effectively deliver market-specific technology solutions that help Healthcare organizations overcome pressing business and care delivery challenges.

CDW will integrate into GHX's trading exchange, enabling it to connect to, and conduct business electronically with, more than 2,300 hospitals and other Healthcare providers. Its customers can streamline internal procurement and transaction processes, driving greater efficiency by increasing the percentage of their overall purchasing conducted electronically by using the exchange.

Our membership in GHX is an important extension of this initiative," said Chris Rother, vice president responsible for Healthcare. "CDW's participation in GHX advances our mission of leveraging world-class IT products and services to help Healthcare organizations meet their unique patient and technology requirements. It also helps our customers exert further control over their supply chain operations."

By connecting with customers electronically, CDW will extend efficiencies in the ordering process and support its commitment to rapid delivery of technology solutions. Customers participating in GHX will have the opportunity to buy products from CDW through a single, existing Internet connection to GHX.

"GHX welcomes CDW to its growing roster of participating suppliers," said Stacey Breeden, Director of Supplier Membership for GHX.
