CDW-G Named to Panasonic Contract in New York
Contract vehicle available to state and local government agencies and educational institutions for purchasing reliable Panasonic Toughbook computers
VERNON HILLS, Ill. - March 3, 2008 - CDW Government, Inc. (CDW-G), a wholly owned subsidiary of CDW Corporation and leading source of Information Technology (IT) solutions to governments and educators, today announced that it will be able to provide Panasonic Toughbook® notebooks, peripherals, accessories, and related services to state and local government agencies under New York State's Contract with Panasonic Computer Solutions Company.

CDW-G was named by Panasonic as one of their Authorized Resellers on their New York State Microcomputer Contract PT63263. Under the contract, CDW-G can provide approved Panasonic products, including the Toughbook series of notebooks, to New York state and local government agencies and field workers such as police, firefighters and inspectors. The dependable Toughbook mobile computing solutions increase productivity and efficiency by helping field workers share information in real time, and create and submit documents from anywhere their work takes them.
Through the Panasonic contract vehicle, CDW-G will be able to offer its New York state and local government customers a broader selection of approved Panasonic products, as well as individual support from CDW-G's account managers and value-added services to support and enhance Panasonic technology solutions, including asset tagging, onsite installation, warranty protection and solution assessment and design.
