Top Public Sector Marketer Joins CDW Government

Vernon Hills, Ill. - September 4, 2002 - CDW Government, Inc. (CDW-G), a wholly owned subsidiary of CDW Computer Centers, Inc. (Nasdaq: CDWC), today announced Ann-Marie Clark has joined the company as director of CDW-G marketing. In this position, Clark will be a member of CDW's marketing organization and her responsibilities include creating and overseeing the government and education marketing strategy. Clark will be based in CDW-G's Lansdowne, Virginia office.

Prior to joining CDW-G, Clark served as manager of federal marketing for Hewlett-Packard/Compaq, a leading global provider of products, technologies, solutions and services. Previously, she held senior marketing positions with technology companies selling to the public sector.

Clark earned a master's degree from American Graduate School of International Management and a bachelor's degree in marketing communications from Virginia Tech.
